How the Fallsview Momentum Card Works

Here the two casinos are not rivals: one Momentum card works at Fallsview Casino Resort and at Casino Niagara. This page explains how the card works, in plain words and without jargon.

Getting the card

The Momentum card is issued at no cost at Guest Services, the help desk at either casino. You must be 19 or older and bring government-issued photo ID. The card cannot be requested online; it is handed out at the desk.

At Casino Niagara, Guest Services is open Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. On Friday and Saturday it is open from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Holiday hours should be checked on casinoniagara.com.

Five tiers

Momentum has five tiers, or levels: Core, Ignite, Leap, Ascend and Soar. The tier depends on Status Points earned in six-month periods. Put simply, your recorded play over half a year sets the level. The Tape desk does not list what each tier requires, because that is not published here.

Parking follows the tier at both casinos. It costs nothing for members at Ignite and above, and for Core members who have a parking offer. Everyone else pays for parking. Neither casino publishes its parking rates.

What Momentum Dollars are

One Momentum Dollar equals $1. They can be spent on slot play, select dining, hotel stays and parking. Select dining means certain restaurants, which this guide does not list. Momentum Dollars cannot be cashed, so they never turn into money at the cage, the casino cashier window. They expire after 12 months without activity.

Sports bets at Casino Niagara sit outside this system. Those bets do not earn Momentum Dollars, and Momentum Dollars cannot be used to pay for them.

The card on the shuttle

A shuttle runs between the two casinos every half hour from 4 p.m. to 12:45 a.m., with a break from 8 to 8:30 p.m. The last trip from Fallsview leaves at 12:30 a.m. It operates every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and on OLG Stage show days. Show a Momentum card when boarding and the ride costs nothing; a partner hotel key card or a show ticket for OLG Stage or the Avalon works too. The partner hotels are Skyline Hotel & Waterpark, The Brock, Sheraton Fallsview and Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls.
